Abu Dhabi : With the esteemed support of Ms. Ghizlan Karaoui, a distinguished figure in the real estate sector and a noted socialite in Dubai, the festival celebrated its remarkable showcase of traditional Moroccan caftans, some of which date back 1,200 years, including the Nata’ Caftan.
The event will be remembered for its significant tribute to Moroccan culture. Organized under the auspices of the Association Zahra for Art and Culture, headed by Fatima Zahra Hamdouni and directed by Yasmina Essajdi, the festival presented Moroccan authenticity on an international stage.
On an evening where tradition intertwined with timeless elegance, Le Manoir du Caftan illuminated Abu Dhabi with the splendor of Moroccan heritage. The third edition of the festival revitalized centuries of history, narrating the story of the Moroccan caftan, which serves as a symbol of identity, artistry, and resilience. The event attracted a distinguished audience, including members of the Moroccan diplomatic corps, Sheikha Aisha bint Saud Al Qasimi, Sheikha Mai bint Saud Al Qasimi, Her Highness Sheikha Hind bint Mohammed, spouse of His Highness Sheikh Saeed bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, and the mother of Their Highnesses Hasher and Maitha Al Maktoum, alongside other esteemed guests. The celebration was further elevated by performances from Mariam Hussein, Douzi, and Diana Haddad, infusing the evening with dynamic rhythm.
