American University of Sharjah (AUS) celebrated the inauguration of its new Arada Executive Lounge, a purpose-built venue that redefines the university’s approach to hosting high-profile engagements and events. The state-of-the-art lounge combines functional excellence with artistic brilliance, creating an environment where important conversations and strategic partnerships are poised to flourish. Her Excellency Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi, President of AUS, led the inaugural ceremony alongside Ahmed Alkhoshaibi, Group CEO of Arada, with key members from both institutions witnessing the closed event.
The Arada Executive Lounge, located in the AUS main building, aims to serve as a premier venue for welcoming dignitaries, partners and distinguished guests. It was designed by Ammar Kalo, Associate Professor and Director of Labs at the AUS College of Architecture, Art and Design, who incorporated sustainable materials and innovative spatial concepts throughout the venue.
