Dubai International Award for the Holy Quran opens the door for participation in the “25th” session of the Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum Holy Quran Competition In preparation for the launch of the twenty-fifth session of the year 1446 AH/2025 AD of the Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum competition for the Holy Quran, the Dubai International Prize for the Holy Quran announced the dates of the start of receiving applications to participate in the competition and the nomination mechanism.
For it, as it will begin receiving applications starting from the first Friday of November 2024, registration is through the Quranic institutions, the General Authority for Islamic Affairs, Endowments and zakat and the Centers of memorization of the Holy Quran accredited within the country, and the receipt of nomination applications ends on Saturday 21/12/2024.
The award the accredited memorization centers within the UAE have been contacted to nominate the contestants, in accordance with the conditions and the six branches of the competition announced by the award it is the first section, in which the participant is required to be a memorizer of the Holy Quran in full with Tajweed.
The second section requires memorization and Tajweed for twenty consecutive parts. Te third section memorizes ten consecutive parts with Tajweed. This section is intended only for citizens. The fifth section memorizes five parts with Tajweed for those who have not exceeded ten years of residents and the sixth section memorizes three parts with Tajweed for those who have not exceeded ten years of citizens.
The general conditions for participation in the competition also included that the non-citizen participant must not exceed the age of 25 years at the time of registration for the competition and that he or she has a valid residence in the United Arab Emirates, and the children of the GCC countries are entitled to participate in the competition provided that they are permanent residents of the country, and that the applicant for participation in the competition does not have a wallet or a wallet for the Holy Quran, and that he or she has not participated in the international competition for the Dubai International Award for the Holy Quran, or participated in the Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak international competition for the Holy Quran, and that he or she has not participated in the same branch or a higher branch from him in the past competitions.
